Indie Red is a gaming reviews blog which focuses on unique, unusual, and highly thought-provoking independent PC games.
The reviews will attempt to explore how different narratives styles, gameplays, and design have been developed to provide the player a truly unique game experience. In other words, I will try to explain why I find some games weird, and that maybe weird games are not too bad. Sometimes we need a break from popular, mainstream, big-budget games. Once in a while in our hectic lives (I mean, we do have more important things to do, right?) it’s good to involve ourselves in a peculiar situation, something that makes us go, “Huh. What was that about?” Or something that makes us stop for a moment and say, “Hm. That was interesting,” before we go on with our lives as if nothing has happened at all.
In addition to commentaries and critiques, you will also find guides and walkthroughs of some of the games featured in this blog.
If you are new to PC gaming, do not despair! Even though I am not a gaming addict (close, but not quite there yet), I have played a lot of video games. I know that some games can be very frustrating, and they can torture you for hours. Not fun at all. So, I offer you some guides and walkthroughs for games I have had trouble with. Hopefully, you will find them helpful enough to make your game experience enjoyable.
The opinions here are, of course, my own, and I encourage everyone to share his or her own thoughts about my reviews. Visit my Steam profile, and suggest games you would like me to play.
